Hi, I'm Joywin Neil Lasrado, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science Engineering at St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru.

During my internship at Petrocon Engineers and Consultants, I worked on developing scalable backend solutions and ensuring API reliability through rigorous testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineered scalable RESTful APIs using Laravel, implementing core business logic and routing to support web application features.
- Conducted rigorous endpoint testing and validation using Postman, ensuring secure data handling and zero-defect API integration while gaining exposure to AWS cloud environments.

Developed a deep learning-based Gradio app to detect emotions from speech using MFCC and CNN models.
Built a Streamlit-based GUI for advanced image manipulation and hidden message encoding. Integrated OpenCV and PIL with real-time webcam input and face/eye detection.
This project combines Columnar Transposition Cipher encryption with Least Significant Bit (LSB) Image Steganography to securely hide and extract messages from images. The encrypted message is embedded into an image, ensuring both security and confidentiality.
The Career Connect Automation Tool is an RPA-based solution that automates the process of job data extraction, structuring, and distribution.
The AQI Prediction and Analysis Web Application is a machine learning-based tool designed to predict and analyze Air Quality Index (AQI) for different cities.
We developed this website using the typical MERN stack but were credited for our impressive implementations. These included a map displaying agency locations and trip descriptions, a trip planner that estimates the total cost, a list of exotic destinations with a booking feature, and even a dedicated page for hiring personnel.
This project is a computer vision-based Zone-Based-Occupancy-Detection System developed using OpenCV and Python. It allows users to manually mark, save, and manage slots of the objects areas on a static image (e.g., a warehouse shelf image captured by a surveillance camera).The system provides users to draw and delete slot rectangles using mouse inputs.
This project is a Python-based financial visualization tool. It allows users to upload a CSV file (e.g., finance.csv) containing state-level metrics, processes it using a Jupyter notebook, and presents data on an interactive map.
A comprehensive event management system that allows users to discover, create, and securely book tickets for events. It features a robust administrative backend for platform moderation, transactional integrity for bookings using row-level locking, and a companion Flutter mobile application for QR code ticket scanning.
A full-stack e-commerce platform built using the Laravel framework. It features a complete shopping experience including product browsing, cart management, wishlists, secure order processing with PayU integration, user authentication using JWT, and a comprehensive admin dashboard with role-based access control.
A full-stack support ticket system where users can submit tickets that are automatically categorized and prioritized in real-time by an LLM (Google Gemini). The application ensures data integrity through database-level constraints and features performance-optimized statistics aggregation.
An AI-powered web application designed to help users make informed nutritional choices. It features smart food label scanning via OCR to detect allergens, Nutri-Score calculations, personalized daily nutritional targets, AI meal analysis using Google Gemini, and machine learning-based food recommendations.
